So its true! SINGAPORE IDOL SUCKS!!!!
No talent no nothing! So i was watching singapore idol just now and i realized that i can sing better than all of them there. Where are all the good singers??? I'll tell you where they are. They are not in Singapore Idol simply because the competition is for losers and the rejects of the singing world! All REJECTS! There was even this one guy that spoilt one of my favourite songs. His rendition of drops of juipeter by train was totally off key and off timing! So terrible! They should have just thrown him off the set that instant! When i become famous, i'm gonna be a judge on singapore idol and trash every single one of the contestants! So terrible! And somemore they put singapore idol on the same days as American Idol! So shameful! The comparison! And Mediacorp is so CHEAP! They only provided a piano for an accompaniment. American Idol had a whole band! SO CHEAPSKATE! I'm VERY disappointed with Mediacorp for their version of American Idol. A sham that should never be seen by the world! Pathetic! All right, i think i've made my point so i'll stop with the dissing. So tomorrow i want to go out. Gonna call Joel first then sinying. I want to go downtown. Its just too boring at home! *Sigh* my ears are still deaf. I think that they've gotten worse. The stupid doctor must have cheated me! I knew i didn't like him from the moment i saw his face. I think i'll go see another doctor if my condition doesn't change for the better soon. Ok, I'm officially bored out of my mind.
So today was my first real holiday this month since i had to go to school the other two days i had to go to school. So today i had planned a great holiday for myself. In the end, I'm bored as hell. THERE'S NOTHING TO DO!!! I mean, there's nothing much online to do. Games are kinda boring and i watched so many vids on youtube that i must have set some kinda record. So i decided to blog. I'm downloading scrubs but it won't finish for another two days so here i am. Sitting all alone in my house staring at a computer screen. So damm boring. Yesterday i went to watch Da Vinci Code with my parents. The movie is SO different from the book. They changed so many parts and added in alot of new stuff. So i didn't really like it that much. I only liked the part where leigh teabing whacked slias to the floor and then sophie went and banged his head over and over again until he became unconsious! I was laughing really loud until my dad scolded me. But it was not as good as X-men still. That was the best movie of the year in my opinion. So after the movie we went grocery shopping and i'm really angry with my parents. I asked then to buy me hair wax and they said no. They said that i had been buying to frequently! I mean the last time i bought hair wax was like last year so i was fuming mad. And then i was too late to go rent a few videos for today. So i was kinda angry. Played GameBoy for awhile and then went to sleep. Then today i didn't register to go for the motivational camp so i am free till next monday. So i woke up this morning and guess what? KoL was down for mantainence!!!! So suay right? So i sat in front of my computer screen and stoned for a few hours. Maybe later i'll go out for a cycle or something. Anyway, tomorrow i wanna go out so please, somebody, anybody, call me and ask me to go out. I'm really bored at home. Well, i'm getting tired of typing so i'll go surf the web. I'll just go to yahoo and type the first thing that comes into my mind and see what pops out. Hmm, i wonder what i'll find. Oh, by the way guys. I have a piece of good news. My parents are thinking of going off for a couple of days next week and so i'm going to have a potluck at my house. The usual are expected to come. I'm very excited. Better get in touch with fann and joann and let them organize. I think i'm going to call sinying now. Don't blame me for not posting for so long!
Yesterday was my malay O LEVELS!!! So i was very busy during the weekend studying.....yeah right. okok, i was just lazy. and it didn't help that i was playing my GameBoy all the time. So let me tell you what happened this past couple of days. Saturday was cool. After lunch my mom switched on the computer for me to use in the church library. After awhile, joel and barbara and jeremy came in. Together with shane we hacked some poor guys NEOPETS Account!!! It was really fun. Shane, who is just a little boy was so excited that joel, a millionaire in neopets, was going to give him his account. So we spent an hour transferring all of that poor guys assets over to joel's account. I think tha we all felt really evil that day! So many memories were brought back. We all looked at out ancient accounts set up in 2001. So old right? After that we started to watchmusic videos and parodies and stuff while my mom provided the snacks. It was really fun. After that joel, nick, barbara, me and my mom went for dinner then we went to the arcade for awhile while my momwent to look at anime figurines. My mom is so hip right? On the ride home me and joel were listening to the new techno cd i bought last week. He really enjoyed it so i lent it to him. Yesterday was my first 'O's paper. I was kinda nervous but after the paper, i think i can get a C5 for it at least. So after that i went home and spent the rest of the day watching short 20min films on youtube. I didn't know that there were so many. Very entertaining. I also played more Fire Emblem on the GameBoy and Some Kingdom of Loathing before going to watch Desperate Housewives. Then i went to lie down on my bed and played another hour of GB before turning in for the day. Today was less stressful than yesterday. I woke up at 6am and had a nice long shower. Then i read the newspaper until 7.15am. Proceeded downstairs to eat Bee Hoon for Breakfast and Teh Peng! Then took the 7.30am train and reached khatib at 7.40am. Still so early! So i went shopping at Shop&Save then i went to school. So here i am, in the school library, stuck doing F&N till 11.30am. Then I'm going home. Oh, by the way, we didn't get to watch the Da Vinci Code on saturday night so my dad promised that we would go today. So I'm going to the movies today! And i have three days of holidays ahead of me! So today was kinda boring.
Yesterday, i found out that there's just an infection in my ear. That's all. Nothing life threatening. So I watched X-men 3 by myself yesterday then went to meet up with my mom after that. I won't spoil the movie for you all but three X-Men will DIE!!!! HAhaha, But it quite a good movie. I give it 7/10 stars!! Today was kinda mundane. Went to school. Played GameBoy throughout malay. Then talked alot of nonsense throughout maths and panicked during F&N. I had to hand in my recipies today and i panicked. So i didn't go for recess. I did manage to buy a drink and some stuff to "ta pau" up to my class to eat lah. The boys in my class have some kind of facination with the string we use to pull down the projection screen. They keep trying to kick it and see who can kick the highest. It's been going on since wednesday. My class is strange isn't it? So we had a clash of teachers during maths cause everyone wants to give remedials but there's just not enough time during the june holidays. I really don't have a life for the next few months. I have to go back everyday for even longer hours than normal school days. That's really sad. I can just picture going to school in the train in the morning and being the only one in uniform there. Sigh.. So i hung out in the canteen with amir after school until mrs seelakul got us to help carry stuff. I"M SOO DISAPPOINTED IN AMERICA!!! How can an old man win american idol??? Taylor Hicks is just not idol material. Amir says that there presently only four american idols because Taylor doesn't count! But i thought that this year's finale was the best by far from any of the years. My favourite part was when the clay lookalike was singing when suddenly clay aiken really came out. GAY REACTION! Hahaha. I think that Clay's hair looks much better now. Not so GAY! hahaha. Amir is convinced that the Jews are behind all the evils of the world. Whenever he falls down or something bad happens to him he says "the Jews are targeting me!" We were making fun of elliot yamin and we said that that Jew was responsibe for kicking out Chris and Mandelisa. He used some kind of jewish magic to stay in but the McFever and the Soul Patrol's power was greater than his!! See the stupid things we dream up? Amir is really against Jews. Dunno why. Ahahaha. Well, i've gotta go to church tonight for cell group. And tomorrow morning, i'm doing song service. That means that i've gotta get up early ang go early. Sad isn't it? I didn't go to school again! Today, fianlly, i can afford to go to the doctor. For the past few weeks i've been suffering from partial deafness. I'm 80% deaf in my right ear and 50% deaf in my left ear. I don't know what the cause is but its kinda scary. I feel as if i'm in a world of my own.
So I'm going to see the doctor later. Even now I running through senarios in my head. Stop it Shaun! I won't get operated on lah. Most probably the doctor will just give me some pills and everything will be alright! I most probably go and watch X-men 3 after my doctor's appointment. I'm gonna ask Sinying togo with me. She's still sleeping now so i'll go wake her up after this! Maybe I'll watch the 11pm show. Ok, i'd better go and catch up some sleep since i have the time. So I finally i got back all of my results but its very bad.
Maths- F9 Science(combined)- F9 History&Social Studies- E8 F&N- D7 Accounts- A1 Malay- C6 English- A1 see?? So depressing right? Well i've come up with reasons for my failure; Maths- the teacher sets the paper too hard. But I've improved by 10 marks! Science- STUPID CHEMISTRY! my physics failed by a few marks but the chem pulled me down. And the whole class got F9 ad the highest in the level got C6!! His & SS- The teacher was TOO strict!! IT's my fabourite subject so i was suprised. Well, the WHOLE level failed the subject so its not too bad. F&N- This one is simple. I got 95/100 for the theory paper but i didn't hand in my coursework so i got 45/100. Coursework is 50%!!! English- I love english. Any JC teachers reading my blog? I'm really good in english and very articulate! So tell your principal!! Accounts- I love numbers. But i fail math cause i hate algebra!( not the same as english!) Malay- What THE???? How did i pass??? I don't even know! Usually i pass everything except for this. So suprising! So i got 3rd in my class. Hehehe kinda impressive if i tell you just that without telling you about the grades. Yesterday in wanted to skip mother tongue intensive remedial but amir said "You must go!". I didn't want to go because i was scared that the Ahmad might give a comoposition. But amir told me that the Ahmad said he was going to give that on thursday so i trusted him. When we went there, HE GAVE US COMPOSITIONS to do! Ahhh!! HE is damm bias! The intensive remedial is for all sec4E and 5A studnts but he let the 5A do it in their curriculum class time and so they finished earlier and went home earlier. While poor me is looking at the very difficult mock paper 1 which the Ahmad isn't probably gonna mark properly anyway and i'm thinking, What The Hell Am I Doing Here?? I predicted that this was going to happen and against my better judgement i went! So i turn to the cause of my problem, AMIR! I think he felt really bad for brushing away my warning. So I did a crappy slipshot letter writing and i looked at part B. "Talk about the saying Blood is thicker than water" I was like "WHAT??" How do i write that in malay?? So i began to write about how abu bakar and the Ahmad were fighting over a pile of rubbish in the rubbish bin. I really didn't know what to write with my limited malay vocabulary!! And that Amir saw what i was writing and he took pity on me so he finished up the compo for me. I didn't even read what he wrote. Just wrote a fake number of words and handed it up. Yesterday i went out with my parents to Causeway. Went to Siam Kitchen. The food there wasn't that great but it was ok. Then went shopping for clothes(which i haven't done in a long time). In the end bought singlets and underwear and a cool silk tie! Then went crazy at the "after 9pm $1 all buns sale" at Bread talk. Bought like TEN buns! Then we went to McDonalds for ice cream and i bought back my favourite apple pie in the world, McDonalds Apple Pie! Went to sleep at like 1am after playing Fire Emblem on the GameBoy. Today was such a fun day! I had like four free periods cause the Ahmad and my accounts teacher didn't come. And there was no relief teacher so the class went crazy! I really laughed alot! Then i went home and did something VERY EVIL!!! While typing th first paragraph of this entry, my brother's teacher called and asked to speak to him. I told him that Brian went for Badminton practise (brian told me that) and that he wasn't at home. His form teacher was suprised and told me that he wasn't in school this morning. Even that caught me off guard cause he usually tells me when he wants to skip school, or "Red Bull" as he calls it. So I did the single worst thing a brother could do. I told the teacher everything and he called my mom! MY brother's dead and i dunno what i can do to help. Told my mom that maybe he DID go to school but he skipped class (ya right!) and that he had free periods. Ahhh!! I shouldn't have done that! Oh well, i'll think of someway i can make it up to him. My malay 'O's is this monday and so we had a breifing today. I guess i'm getting kinda scared and I've decided to start studying starting from next week so guys, if you wanna go out, tell me at least a few days in advance and somethimes even though you know i can't go, it would be nice to still invite me! So I was watching Oprah and I found out something. Did you know that it was Simon Cowell who searched the world and brought together this amazing singing group called Il Divo! You might have heard this group's name before cause they top the classical charts even beating michael buble!
The episode i watched was about six months old so when simon talked about how he predicted that they were going to be the next big thing, I was really suprised! Really interesting huh? Well I have wonderful news to announce. My 'O' levels are next week! OMG! I haven't even begun to study! Well on the 29th of may, I'm having my mother tongue exam! I'm getting worried! Oh, I almost forgot, I got back some of my results today cause I didn't go to school last thursday and friday. I failed maths! :( 31/100!! IT's an improvement but I've gotta pass to go to JC! Failed combined science terribly. And I FAILED SOCIAL STUDIES AND HISTORY! And I failed Food&Nutrition cause of my coursework. I only passed my english-A1, my Accounts-A1 and my Malay-C6. And I got Top In Class!! MY class is sad right? So depressing. Well, I'll do better next time! I've gotta go eat to restore my energy!
