To Read or Not to Read One day, one week, one month or one year. Time still passes by. Thoughts, Emotions, Fears, Pains, Joys, Hopes, all flutter past. One Moment, One LifeA Page from My Life Wednesday, May 28, 2008
I went for a project work meeting with harry, nadia, faezah and syikin on sunday afternoon. Everyone except for syikin was about two hours late so naturally, she was angry. Well that's her problem for coming on time. I pre-warned her that everyone was going to be late so its off my hands.
Anyway, after the project work meeting, syikin went off and the four of us went to the airport for dinner. We walked around all three terminals before heading to terminal 1 to send of andrea and diyannah, who were going to korea. Their flight was at 10.35pm so we met them at around 8pm. Since nadia had preu sem on monday and the rest of us wanted to go home, we planned to leave when they went into the gate at around 9pm. But in the end we were kept waiting because the group had to wait for the grand arrival of Tan Chor Pang, our school principal, to arrive and give parting words of wisdom. And guess what were these words of wisdom? "When you go overseas, it is not like your home. So when using the toilet, it will be slippery so be careful. If you slip and hit your head on the bathtub, it is your head that will crack and not the bathtub". Wise words of wisdom from the one and only Tan Chor Pang. What was funny was that his daughter, who is really pretty but too young for my tastes, was rolling her eyes at her father. It just goes to show how wise he really is. Anyway, took a bus home to woodlands from the airport. From there nadia's parents gave me a lift home because I was such a 'gentleman' for not wanting to leave nadia waiting all alone at woodlands taxi stand close to midnight. LOL, I do that with all my female friends. Anyway, her parents are giving me a lift to the airport next week when we go to japan, that's a load off my mind. Went to aaron's house on monday to use his fast internet connection then went home to sleep. Such a productive day :D I went for GAP yesterday afternoon although I was like an hour late for a committee meeting. Nonetheless, I stayed till the end. I headed to Macs at Ang Mo Kio Hub after that for a meeting with my Japan group. When we go over next week, we're supposed to perform an item for the japanese school over there and I've kinda been made the leader of my "presentation" group. Thanks to amirah, gwen and rachel for turning up. (Nadia was at preu sem while sixuan and aishah are missing). Sathish was also there buying stuff for gwen. Hey, guess what, our group is singing a national day song at the end of our presentation. Neat right? Hahaha! Anyway, went home late as usual and watched CSI and Bones before hitting my laptop to wiki till 3am. This past few days I've been surfing through wikipedia quite a bit. I think I've surfed at least a thousand pages since last friday. Woah! I think that by the end of the holidays, I'll probably have read most of the pages. Even though I was supposed to go out today, I was too lazy to go out. So I watched an episode of Band of Brothers, and the first two episodes of Gossip Girl. Now those are good shows to spend the afternoon watching. Whoops! Look at the time, I'd better get ready for Tricia and Truddy's 21st birthday party. Its at 6.30pm but I'm meeting joel first and we'll arrive fashionably late at around 7pm :D Since harry has posed this question, I'm also going to answer it. If I were a tree I'd want to be a Banyan Tree so that I'd be the logo for Raintree Pictures. (though technically the banyan is not a kind of raintree) Don't step into the kitchen if you can't handle the heat~ SupremeShaun is sleek and Handsome @ 4:38 pm Saturday, May 24, 2008
All right, i know its been about a month since my last post but I've been really busy.
Cheerleading became a part of my life. I was a cheerleader. But after we won the competition, it ended. I still remember the lights and screams as we found out the results. I felt like I belonged to something special, something that I was good at. I closed that chapter of my life with a tinge of regret that it finally came to an end. Yesterday was the last day of school and I didn't feel like going but i went anyway. Had malay in the morning and then skipped three periods of math. I hate math because math hates me. I keep falling asleep only to be awakened by my furious math teacher and his flying markers. So I skipped his lesson. What can they do on the last day of school? Organised the year ones in drama to do the appetizers and drinks for the farewell party we were throwing for the drama seniors. I had to rush of before it officially began because I had a field trip to go for. Went to the Parliament of Singapore in the afternoon. It was quite interesting to learn about the seat of power in our country. Maybe one day I'll be ruling Singapore from there. Went for an early dinner with nadia, andrea and diyannah after that at Macs. Its was really fun, just like old times where we laughed uncontrollably. Went home after that. On the way home in the train, me, andrea and diyannah made a deal to send each other off at the airport so I'm going to send them off to Korea tomorrow night. So today is the first official day of the June holidays and I didn't go to church. Sitting at home in front of the computer doing nothing has helped me appreciate how quickly the world moves; if we don't hold on we'll get blown into obscurity. I'm going to harry's house for Project work tomorrow so at least there's something to do tomorrow. Oh and by the way, my opinion was published in the Straits Times last monday. It was one of my greatest accomplishments to date. I hope that this is just the beginning of my great accomplishments. Ever notice how lonely life gets? I do, every single day. I wonder if life was always meant to be this way, if there's even a single soul out there that will one day click into the puzzle that is my life. Who knows what life brings? Since its the holidays now I don't really have an excuse not to blog so I guess I'll be more regular. Going into an empty afternoon~ SupremeShaun is sleek and Handsome @ 2:27 pm
